Brooklyn Loft Makeover
Designing for Lena, a freelance fashion photographer with a love for soft neutrals, vintage finds, and open spaces. Lena and her cat just moved into a Brooklyn loft and needs a flexible space for work, rest and entertainment.
This moodboard sets the tone for lots of neutral textures with a creative edge. Concrete floors, light oak woods, vintage chrome, and layered softness to balance the industrial bones.
I kept the downstairs totally open so it feels bright and social, with a productive little work-from-home corner by the big windows, space to cook and chill, and a dining area that’s perfect for wine nights.
She’s a freelance photographer, so the space had to feel creative but calm. Lena can move from editing at her desk to winding down on the sofa without losing that creative flow.
Upstairs is her resting zone, surrounded by soft wood tones, clean lines, and a tucked-away ensuite for those slow quiet mornings.
